Facial massage is a simple and effective way to improve your epidermal layer, rejuvenate your skin and make you look and feel healthier and younger.

Each facial is tailored to you as an individual, concentrating on your skin type and specific need. As well as cleansing, toning, exfoliating and moisturising your skin. The treatment will ensure improvement in general skin condition and relaxation of the face muscles.

Anti-ageing

No matter what age you are there is always a common consensus that you want your skin to look younger. After the age of 20 your skin starts to lose elastin which is what keeps your face tight and young. To slow down this process in this facial we focus on circulation first and foremost, we stimulate the cells that produce collagen and elastin by bringing oxygen to the cells. This improves the muscle tone and the texture of the skin which in turn ensures the skin looks and feels remarkably younger.

During this facial I focus on fine line and wrinkles and skin that may sag slightly, I use a collagen gel alongside an uplifting eye serum. We also offer a bee venom eye lift which is the new craze in the celeb world, this noticeably reacts with the skin.

Redness and Blemish

Acne, Rosacea, Broken capillaries, Milia and Pigmentation are all common issues that affect the skin of millions of people. To minimise these concerns we target the hyperamia so that blood can flow to the area which helps the congestion of old cells, once the cells start to reproduce more quickly the new cells will surface will a more even tone. I will also stimulate the lymphatic system to remove the waste and toxins from your skin.

To ensure the best results I use top of the range products which are free from lanolin and detergents. I will use a face mask that is specifically designed to remove toxins and a serum which purifies the new cells.

Relax and Restore

Facials are not always for people who have a particular issue with their skin, this facial is specifically designed for people who wish to keep their skin regularly restored and beautiful. The main aim for the facial is to activate the parasymphatetic system which will work as a stress release, which means your skin will constantly be repairing itself and keeping in good condition. You will feel more energised and notice a glow in your skin after the treatment.

The facial will include a choice of skin care products depending on your skin type and what you prefer.

Non-surgical face lift

The facial will be similar to the anti-ageing facial above, however it includes a 20 minute facial massage which is designed to lift the face, its plumps out the skin and softens and hydrates the fine lines and wrinkles. The massage works as vascular gymnastics for the circulatory system which exercises the dermis to activate elastin, collagen and sebum production.

Collagen gel, anti-ageing eye products and a peel mask are just some of the products which are used in this treatment.

Deep Exfoliation

Deep exfoliation is for people who may have congested areas, dry skin or blemish. The facial aims to desquamate the old cells and make way for new beautiful ones; this accelerates the production of fibroblast and encourages health cell growth.

The treatment will include a 20 minute diamond peel microdermabrasion session and a rose water mask to clean and extract layers which may be hard to get to otherwise.



Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the only method of PERMANENTLY removing unwanted hair from your body and face.

A hair thin probe inserted into each hair follicle, electricity is then delivered through the probe which destroys the base of the follicle, which leads to the removal of the hair.

Every client is different and will require an average of 6-10 sessions. The amount of sessions required is dependant on the person and the hair growth.

Diamond Peel Microdermabrasion

A treatment that removes dead skin cells effectively with miniature diamond grain. The vacuum suction promotes the stimulation of collagen and elastin fibres and promote cell renewal which ensures a healthier epidermal.

The process is highly successful and is strongly recommended for wrinkles, stretch marks, scarring and pigmentation. As well as giving normal skin a healthy glow.

Diamond Peel Microdermabrasion can be performed on the face and body depending on which area you want targeted.

Intensive weekly courses (for a particular problem area) are offered, the amount of sessions needed will depend on the severity.

Regular monthly treatments are recommended for consistent beautiful skin.

My After Treatment Serum is designed to be used after microdermabrasion and other facial treatments. It is enriched with Vitamins A, B, B5 and E to moisturise and protect your skin and has resibual anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties.

Electrolysis

  • Does it hurt?
    Most people can tolerate the slight pain for around 45 minutes. It feels like a really warm scratch and a zap. Some areas hurt more than others. My best advice is to pluck a hair near to where you are looking to get it done and you will get a feel for how sensitive the area is.

  • Which area can I have done?
    Common areas for woman are facial areas, (top lip, chin, neck, cheeks, eyebrows) breasts, abdomen, underarms, bikini line, legs, fingers and toes.

    Common areas for men are the upper arms, around the ears, top of the nose, eyebrows, top of the back, cheeks above the line of the beard, around the edges of the beard and any areas where ingrown hairs are causing problems

  • How long does it take?
    Each hair follicle needs take around 15 seconds therefore I offer a 45 minute session to ensure maximum coverage. However, depending on the area you want targeted, your pain threshold or schedule we can come to an agreement which suits you.

  • How many treatments needed?
    The average person needs around 6-10 sessions for a follicle, however this is dependent on the size of the area you want targeted and any medical conditions you may have.

  • Is it safe?
    Yes it is completely safe, your skin may react to the treatment leaving slight redness, spotting or raised skin but this would disappear after a few hours.

  • Can I still remove hair between treatments?
    It is recommended that you do not wax or pluck in between treatments however, cutting or shaving the hair is okay.

  • Is it the only permanent method?
    Yes, lots of other hair removal including laser cannot give a 100% success rate. Electrolysis destroys the hair follicle, however all follicles are different and could take more or less time to be destroyed.

  • Does it work on all hair types?
    Yes, the benefit of electrolysis compared to other hair removal (ie laser or waxing). Any hair can be targeted no matter the thickness or length or density.

  • How often do I need a treatment?
    The same area can be treated once a week however, for example if you were having an arm pit treated I would do one half for one session and then the other half a few days later etc.

  • How long must the hair be?
    The hair has to of broken through the skin but the length is irrelevant.

  • Is it safe if I'm pregnant?
    Yes, there are three different types of electrolysis; galvanic, diathermy and blend. Pregnant ladies are recommended to use the diathermy method.

Diamond Microdermabrasion

  • What is it?
    The treatment consists of a diamond wand removing the top layer of skin. The diamond exfoliates the skin and the vacuum whisks the dead skin away.

  • How many treatments do I need?
    3 to 6 for the initial renewal of skin spaced weekly and then once a month thereafter for maintenance.

  • How long does a treatment take?
    The treatment takes around 60mins, although they can be tailored to your needs.

  • Why should I have it instead of a normal facial?
    Microdermabrasion is a stronger version of a facial and is a much deeper cleanse. It is recommended for people with scars, pigmentation, acne, stretch marks and cellulite.

  • What areas can I have done?
    Face and neck are the most popular areas, however the treatment is very effective on the hands and feet. It is, also, commonly used on people with stretch marks, which can be any area of the body.

  • Is it painful?
    No, it feels like a good strong exfoliation. Sensitive skin may experience a slight sensation. After the treatment you can resume normal activities albeit a slight pink glow.
